This is a dubious or fake privacy initiative but how do you make it real?

There are Searx instances that query multiple search engines on your behalf and you can make an instance like https://searx.xyz your default search engine (done by going to the site and clicking on the cross that appears in the search box in the firefox toolbar). Then instead of google, this instance knows all your searches and can profile you just as well. What is needed is a random Searx instance. There is a site that does the job of choosing a random instance for you:
https://searx.neocities.org
Except this is of dubius value because, while this page appears to make the choice on your end with javascript when you type search terms in the above web page, adding it as the default search engine skips this and sends the search terms to the above site! So in fact you can still be profiled by one site if it wants to profile people or is ever coerced into doing that.
The idea is cool nevertheless, how do you make it real so search terms you type in the url bar go directly to a random Searx instance?
