Gnome vs KDE
by Garthhh from LinuxQuestions.org on (#585YB)
I've mostly used KDE for the past decade
I've been trying out gnome & can mostly adapt
There isn't much documentation, much of what there is, is old & not as helpful as one would hope. lots mixed up with ubun & unity
I like that the super key does something useful, I could get a decent flow going if I didn't have to keep switching sides of the screen
Is there a way to move the top bar to the bottom?
I figured out how to have multiple workspaces, but miss being able to move an application to a different workspace?
Can I move the workspace switcher to the left?
I found the place to change the keyboard shortcuts, how do I change the existing command or compose a new one?
I understand how to open something up, I want to refine the screenshot
A 12 hour clock & notifiers on the bottom
Having a way to have colors not shades of gray would also be nice
