Slackware ARM 14.2 on a Raspberry Pi (1) - SARPi kernel 5.4.65 update
by Exaga from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5888T)
SARPi has updated the installer for Slackware ARM 14.2 on a Raspberry Pi (1) running Linux kernel 5.4.65. For the forseeable future these 14.2 [on the Raspberry Pi (1) ONLY!] updates will be a permanent fixture until the release of Slackware 15.0 - with the caveat that any updates/releases will be at least +24 hours behind the RPi2/3/4 due to the time it takes to build on the device.
Updates are available from: https://sarpi.fatdog.nl/index.php?p=downloads
BUT... now the SARPi downloads are kindly hosted by Slackware.UK because;
1). their hosting rocks and ours sucks "could be more accommodating", and
2). less prone to be null-routed by the admins/hosting company for no reason 'unexpected blackouts for weeks substantial periods of time'.
So, a BIG-BIG shout-out to Tadgy @ Slackware.UK for being very kind and accommodating in allowing the SARPi Project some repository space for our downloads. :hattip: :D :thumbsup: :cool:
