[SOLVED] Factory Reset Problem
by business_kid from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58CAA)
Unsurprisingly, I've shot myself in the foot by coming down too hard on all those useless apps running in the background. I have a Samsung S7 Edge on Android-8.1.
I ran into trouble (no Settings app, no applications app) which a factory reset would sort. But I can't restore my data because I need to get into my Samsung Pass account and I don't think I ever set that up fully. I figured that if I could back up to google drive, I could restore from it. I avoid all those "Let us remember everything for you" things and "let us enter your passwords automatically" stuff, because I could drop my phone down the stairs and have it buy something big for me!
Now, how do I get out of this without a factory reset?
