Former Elite model agency boss investigated over rape allegations

Actions of French prosecutors follow complaint from former BBC journalist and claims of abuse by three ex-models

French prosecutors have opened an investigation against Gerald Marie, former European boss of the Elite model agency, on allegations of rape, including of a minor.

It follows a complaint against the ex-husband of supermodel Linda Evangelista from a former BBC journalist and claims of abuse by three ex-models, the Paris prosecutor's office said.
