Meng Wanzhou lawyers accuse US of 'cherry-picking' evidence for extradition

Lawyers for a senior executive for Chinese technology giant Huawei Technologies argued in a Canadian courtroom on Monday that US authorities used a misleading summary that cherry-picks" evidence in requesting her extradition.

Canada arrested Meng Wanzhou, on a US warrant, at Vancouver's airport in late 2018. Her arrest infuriated Beijing, which sees her case as a political move designed to prevent China's rise.
