seeking help learning to do python the right way
by SaintDanBert from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58PPJ)
LQ Friends,
Would folks please reply with the name of really good utilities or applications for Linux that are written in python and available as source code?
Someone told me "Working software makes and excellent specification."
With this in mind, I like to read source code to learn common practices, style, internal documentation and commenting techniques, and so on. I've written C and C++ for years and I'm working to learn how to write Python by imitation of really great examples.
Thanks in advance,
