After upgrade to 20.04.1 no network connection

Software manager notified me yesterday that the upgrade was available. It went well as far as I could tell. However,since then I have no network. I burned the 20.04.1DVD and when booted up the internet works fine. I've never had this problem with any of my previous LTS upgrades. I'm not very well versed on networking so I have no idea where to start troubleshooting this. Any advice would be appreciated.
