Defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons joined several teammates and two staff members as the Tennessee Titans' list of personnel to be placed on the COVID-19 list approached 20 on Saturday, the team announced.

Tennessee's case number has grown steadily since the Titans returned from Minnesota, where they faced the Vikings in Week 3. Ten players and eight staff members are believed to account for the positive tests.

The Vikings haven't reported a single case of COVID-19, and zero tests conducted Friday came back positive, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Previously, the NFL postponed a Week 4 matchup between the Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers because of the ongoing COVID-19 spread plaguing Tennessee. Additional cases could jeopardize a Week 5 game between the Titans and Buffalo Bills.

The Titans suspended in-person activities Tuesday after learning eight tests - three players and five staff members - came back positive following the Vikings game.

Before traveling to Minnesota, the Titans placed practice squad cornerback Greg Mabin on COVID-19 reserve. Rookie offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson has been on the list since Sept. 6.
