I2P proxy settings issue with Gnu Icecat
by burning from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58SFJ)
I'm setting up I2P for the first time and it decided to use Gnu Icecat as the browser of choice apparently even though it's not my default browser and still has this incredibly annoying bug where all the text on the page randomly becomes pixelated at random points of scrolling up and down a page:https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...es-4175675648/. If it is my default browser, Icecat doesn't know it because it says so whenever I open the preferences tab, but I digress.
It says that in order for I2P to be properly set up, I have to configure my proxy settings in whatever browser I'm using as per these instructions:
https://geti2p.net/en/about/browser-config
it says to go to about:config and look for media.peerConnection.ice.proxy_only to set it to true but that option isn't even there. The closest things that are listed are media.peerconnection.ice.default_address_only and media.peerconnection.ice.no_host default
As consequence, I'm unable to access any of the sites on I2P. Have the methods of properly configuring the proxy settings changed since these instructions were last updated?
