Mac OSX Mavericks White Screen of Death when Linux USB plugged in
by helpimessedupmyimac from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58WNA)
I don't know if this is the right forum to ask as I have no idea if Apple Official forums will answer questions related to linux dual boots. Okay, so I created a lxqt void usb drive (no musl) by following this tutorial.
https://itsfoss.com/create-bootable-...-drive-mac-os/
After that I made a second partition on my mac.
Then I restarted my computer and the screen was just white. I tried to boot into the boot selection by holding option, I reset prram; I've tried basically everything. I decided to unplug the USB and boot up and see what happens and it goes to grub rescue. I haven't previously dual booted on my mac before so I don't know why grub rescue shows up at all. I plugged the usb in again and it still resulted in a white screen.
Why is grub on my system when my usb is unplugged from the system?
How do I fix this and go back to either my osx install or somehow boot into that void linux drive?
