Update Manager Error [Linux Mint 19.3]
by crujones4 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58XSH)
When I try to refresh my update manager I get a screen that says...
"Could not download all repository indexes
The repository may no longer be available or could not be contacted because of network problems. If available an older version of the failed index will be used. Otherwise the repository will be ignored. Check your network connection and ensure the repository address in the preferences is correct."
An error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY D1742AD60D811D58Failed to fetch http://repository.spotify.com/dists/stable/InRelease The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY D1742AD60D811D58Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead."
Any clue of what that could be? I've had an issue with Spotify remaining on even after closed [with like 5 different tabs open on the system manager], but don't know whether or not that's it.
-Great community; always appreciate the help; hoping to convert many more to Linux soon; Thanks again, folks
