Upgrade from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 caused scrambled screen
by pizzipie from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58Y3G)
I upgraded from Ubuntu 18.04.5 to Ubuntu 20.04. Upon new re-boot screen is unusable as it is scrambled. See attachment.
I don't have a clue as to how to fix this. I can't use the machine to fix itself as I can't access the control center.
I think there is a 'ctrl xx' to get out of the x-window and access the terminal but then what?
Do I need a different driver to fix this?
