Report: 49ers' Mostert expected to return vs. Dolphins
The San Francisco 49ers are slowly getting back to full health, as running back Raheem Mostert "should be good" to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Mostert has missed the past two games due to an MCL sprain he suffered in Week 2.
The 28-year-old is currently averaging 6.4 yards per carry to go along with two touchdowns.
Jerick McKinnon was handling the majority of San Francisco's backfield touches in Mostert's absence. McKinnon's racked up 193 yards on the ground with four total scores in 2020.
Additionally, Jimmy Garoppolo will return to the 49ers' lineup in Week 5, while wide receiver Deebo Samuel is likely to be active after battling an illness this week. Tevin Coleman remains sidelined with a knee injury.
