dante-server won't log

Hello,
I'm running danted as a socks proxy.on Debian i386 (Athlon XP)
In the syslog I get the message Code:Oct 13 19:49:41 server danted[530]: Oct 13 19:49:41 (1602611381.305438) danted[530]: warning: openlogfile(): could not open or create logfile "/var/log/danted/sockd.log" for writing: Read-only file systemDanted runs as user dante (I created that for this purpose) and I confirmed that with htop.

If I log in as dante I can write in this folder, but the service doesn't want to do so.
What is the problem here?
I like an proper logging to find out an issue why it stops after the first start via systemd.

Kind regards
