Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders suffered a knee injury in the second half of Sunday's 30-28 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Sanders was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the contest in the fourth quarter with the Eagles down two scores. Philadelphia reduced its deficit late, but the club failed on a two-point conversion attempt in the final minutes and didn't tie the game.

The 23-year-old already missed the Eagles' season opener due to a hamstring injury. The second-year runner, who was Philadelphia's leading rusher in 2019, had amassed 316 yards and three touchdowns on the ground entering Week 6.

He rushed for 118 yards on nine carries before being sidelined on Sunday.

Eagles tight end Zach Ertz also suffered an ankle injury and was forced out of the matchup late in the fourth quarter.

The veteran has played in every game this season. The Eagles' leading pass-catcher recorded four receptions for 33 yards against Baltimore.

Philadelphia won't have much time to rest its players, as the team faces the New York Giants on Thursday.
