Why GNU/Linux is vs Windows OS?

Hello,
People using GNU/Linux because it is Open Source and security is better than of other close source operating systems like Windows OS.
I have some questions:
1- You use an open source program like Firefox or Brave web browsers. Did you read all codes of these tools? How you can sure no Keylogger or other spying codes existing in millions lines of codes?
2- When "Binary blobs" exist in Linux kernel then Linux is not vs Microsoft Windows OS.
