Is it kosher to belong to more than one forum?

Hi all, as the title says: Is it kosher to belong to more than one forum? I have joined two others -- with the same username -- so I'll be easy to spot! Have I made some newbie blunder? I don't want to appear too foolish... Thanks for any advice.
