Police investigating after shots fired at east Hamilton Mountain home
Hamilton police are investigating after shots were fired at a home on the city's east Mountain Saturday night.
Police say just shortly after 10 p.m., a light-coloured two-door vehicle was seen driving past a home on Locheed Drive.
Witnesses saw someone in the vehicle fire multiple shots" at a residence and then flee the scene, police say.
No injuries were reported.
Police are asking residents to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity in the area.
This is the second incident of shots fired at a home on the Mountain this month.
Shortly after 4 a.m. on Oct. 14, police responded to reports of shots fired at residence in the area of Fennell Avenue East and Upper Sherman Avenue. The house was occupied at the time but no injuries were reported.
