Parked car hit with bullet on Stone Church Road after dispute on Hamilton Mountain
Police are investigating after a gun was fired at a Hamilton Mountain housing complex, striking a parked vehicle, late Monday night.
Hamilton police were called to 525 Stone Church Rd. E. at Redmond Drive for reports of a single gunshot around 11 p.m. Oct. 26.
Two groups of males were involved in a dispute at the complex during which a single gunshot was fired, police said.
The group fled before police arrived. Police found the bullet had struck an unoccupied parked vehicle.
There are no reports of injuries.
Police are asking area residents to check surveillance video for suspicious activity.
The shooting is under investigation by the Mountain criminal investigation branch.
This marks the 39th shooting in Hamilton this year.
