Man killed in Stoney Creek industrial accident at Waste Management Canada

A man is dead after a workplace accident at Waste Management Canada in Stoney Creek Monday evening.
Emergency services were called to the facility at 407 McNeilly Rd., south of the Queen Elizabeth Way, shortly before 6 p.m. Oct. 26.
A man in his late 50s was killed in an industrial accident, said Hamilton police Const. Krista-Lee Ernst.
Hamilton Paramedic Service Supt. Dave Thompson said the man was pronounced dead on scene. No one else was injured.
The Ministry of Labour was called in and is investigating.
