Dalvin Cook questionable vs. Packers
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is reportedly expected to suit up against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday after sitting out the team's Week 6 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Cook is listed as questionable on the Vikings' Friday injury report.
He "should be ready to go," head coach Mike Zimmer said, according to ESPN's Courtney Cronin. Zimmer also expects Cook to receive his normal workload.
Cook suffered an adductor strain during Minnesota's Week 5 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
The Vikings employed a running back by committee approach in the 25-year-old's absence. The club split carries between Alexander Mattison, Ameer Abdullah, and Mike Boone.
Cook leads the team with 489 yards and 5.3 yards per carry to go along with seven touchdowns. The Miami native also has 12 receptions for 64 yards.
The fourth-year veteran opened the season with a 50-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Packers.
