Seahawks' Adams, Carson questionable to face 49ers
The Seattle Seahawks listed running back Chris Carson and safety Jamal Adams as questionable ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
Carson was reportedly considered week-to-week after suffering an ankle sprain during a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He was forced out of that game before halftime.
The 26-year-old isn't the only Seahawks running back whose playing status is uncertain ahead of Sunday. Travis Homer is listed as questionable due to a knee issue, while Carlos Hyde is doubtful with a hamstring injury.
Head coach Pete Carroll said Friday his team will go "all the way to game time'' before determining the status of its running backs, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.
Seattle bolstered its depth chart at the position, signing veteran tailback Alex Collins to the club's practice squad on Friday.
Meanwhile, Adams hasn't played since Week 3 due to a groin injury. An illness designation was also added to his injury report on Friday.
The All-Pro defender has racked up 23 tackles, two sacks, and one pass breakup through three games this season.
