which cellphone can Linux read

which of these "smartphones" can Linux read ?
iPhone -- probably not
Google/Pixel ?
Samsung/Galaxie ?
Hopefully I will be able to just connect the phone to my desktop with a USB cable, mount the phone directories and download all the pictures
I think Google/Pixel phone have particularly good cameras so that might be a good one to use.
