Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams continued their scorching start to the season as the Green Bay Packers blew out the San Francisco 49ers 34-17 on Thursday Night Football.

Rodgers completed 25 of 31 pass attempts for 305 yards and four touchdowns, while Adams caught 10 passes for 173 yards and one score.

The signal-caller went 3-for-3 passing for 119 yards and one touchdown on attempts of at least 25 yards to Adams, who recorded his longest catch of the season on a 49-yard play.

"I like getting the ball to 17. He's a special player," Rodgers said postgame. "He's just so talented, does so many things for us, easy guy to throw the ball to."

Rodgers has now thrown for at least four touchdowns 27 times throughout his career, trailing only Drew Brees (36), Peyton Manning (35), and Tom Brady (31) among all-time leaders.

In the last three weeks, the eight-time Pro Bowler has completed over 70% of his pass attempts while tossing 11 touchdowns against zero interceptions.

Adams entered the game leading the NFL in touchdown catches despite being sidelined for two games in the first month of the schedule.

With another monstrous performance, the pass-catcher became the first player in NFL history to record at least 10 receptions and 150 receiving yards in three different games through his team's first eight contests.

Additionally, wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling put up a strong performance with the first multi-touchdown game of his career.

"I was really happy for Marquez," Rodgers said. "He's been dealing with the lack of targets sometimes, so for him to get a couple of touchdowns is pretty special."

The Packers improved to 6-2 with the win, while the 49ers dropped to 4-5.
