After upgrading from ktown to vtown, I had a constant disk usage for 2 hours.

Akonadi.error gives

Quote:
2020-11-06T07:40:12 [INFO ] org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Starting up the Akonadi Server...
2020-11-06T07:40:12 [CRITICAL] org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Failed to use database "akonadi"
2020-11-06T07:40:12 [CRITICAL] org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Database error: "Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/akonadi-XXXX.7pZUvQ/mysql.socket' (2) QMYSQL: Unable to connect"
2020-11-06T07:40:12 [CRITICAL] org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Failed to connect to database!
2020-11-06T07:40:12 [CRITICAL] org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Database error: "Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/akonadi-XXXX.7pZUvQ/mysql.socket' (2) QMYSQL: Unable to connect"
My akonadiserverrc is

Quote:
[Debug]
Tracer=null

[%General]
Driver=QMYSQL

[QMYSQL]
Host=
Name=akonadi
Options="UNIX_SOCKET=/tmp/akonadi-XXXX.7pZUvQ/mysql.socket"
ServerPath=/usr/libexec/mysqld
StartServer=false
so there should not be any akonadi running.

Finally I removed all the packages akonadi* , and now everything is quiet....latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=puPv1Z0aMEw:gRBUt0xA9Ds:F7zBnMy latest?i=puPv1Z0aMEw:gRBUt0xA9Ds:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=puPv1Z0aMEw:gRBUt0xA9Ds:gIN9vFwpuPv1Z0aMEw
