Hamilton man charged in pharmacy robbery

A 39-year-old Hamilton man is facing charges in connection with a pharmacy robbery last month.
Hamilton police were called to the Shoppers Drug Mart at 181 Main St. W. shortly before 3:30 p.m. Oct. 24 for a robbery.
Police allege a man threatened to use a gun and demanded narcotics.
He was given a small amount of narcotics and fled on foot, police said.
No one was hurt and while a gun was threatened, one was not seen.
On Nov. 5, police arrested the 39-year-old.
He is charged with robbery and disguise with intent.
