Driver allegedly hit two people outside Barton Street bar following dispute over mask: Hamilton police
Hamilton police are investigating after a man allegedly struck two people while doing doughnuts" in the parking lot of an east-end bar.
Police say words were exchanged" in argument over someone not wearing a mask at the Fool and Flagon, a bar located in a plaza near the intersection of Barton Street East and Nash Road North, at 11:20 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the suspect left the 2255 Barton St. E. bar and started doing doughnuts in the parking lot."
The suspect hit two people - a 40-year-old man and a 50-year-old man - in the parking lot, police say.
They did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Police allege the suspect failed to remain on scene, leaving the parking lot in a vehicle, police say.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
