make a virtual machine that is fully equipped to begin with

i want to be able to start new machines from a fully equipped ubuntu iso,
like when i put ubuntu on my friends machine or when i start a new virtual machine i want to not have to install the basic installation and then change and install etc a lot of stuff but rather just install a copy of the ubuntu installation i already have which is fully equipped
