Fantasy: Waiver Wire - Week 10

Rostered percentages are based on Yahoo leagues. Free Agent Budget (FAB) amounts are set off a $100 salary cap. Only players rostered in less than 60% of leagues are considered.

Carr has been a solid fantasy producer this season, with four top-16 fantasy finishes over his last seven outings.

Week 10 offers a chance at a ceiling game for the Raiders' QB as he takes on a Broncos defense that allowed 278 yards and three touchdowns to Justin Herbert and 284 yards and three scores to Matt Ryan over the past two games.

Carr, who racked up 650 total passing yards in his two meetings with the Broncos last season, is a strong streaming option this week.

Drew Lock, Broncos

Carr's opponent is also worth a look as a potential bye-week replacement.

After throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns against the Chargers in Week 8, Lock delivered his best performance of the season in Week 9 with 313 passing yards, two scores through the air, 47 rushing yards, and another trip to the end zone with his legs.

The Raiders are one of the 10 best matchups for opposing passers and have given up multiple passing touchdowns in four of their last five contests. You can feel confident using Lock for one more week.

David Johnson is in the concussion protocol, putting his status for Week 10 in doubt.

With David leaving early on Sunday, Duke stepped into a workhorse role, playing over 81% of snaps while amassing 73 yards from scrimmage and a score against the Jaguars.

Though the Browns aren't the easiest front to run on, Duke can be treated like a low-end RB2 in fantasy if David remains sidelined.

Ryan Nall, Bears

Nall could find himself in a similar position to Duke Johnson this week, with starter David Montgomery also in the concussion protocol.

After Montgomery's departure, the 6-foot-2, 239-pound Nall didn't get a carry but caught four passes for 35 yards and a touchdown with the Bears in comeback mode.

The only danger here is that Chicago has Lamar Miller (0% rostered) on its practice squad and if he's activated, it's possible the team works the veteran into the mix. Cordarrelle Patterson will also factor in with a few touches of his own.

If Nall does get the start, he'll be a high-end RB3 with RB2 upside. But Miller could complicate things, turning them both into risky flex plays.

Cam Akers/Malcolm Brown, Rams

Though the reports about Darrell Henderson have been optimistic about his chances of playing in Week 10, it's worth noting he was forced from the Rams' last game after reaggravating his thigh injury.

As we saw with Mark Ingram and the Ravens, the running back's injury was downplayed heading into their bye week, but when the team returned to practice, Ingram wasn't able to take the field. He's now missed two straight games.

While it's not the same situation, the possibility Henderson is more hurt than we realize gives us enough reason to scoop up Akers and Brown.

If Week 8 was any indication, the Rams would use Akers as the lead ball carrier with Brown being the more trusted option on passing downs. That would make Akers a potential low-end RB2 if Henderson misses time, while Brown continues in his role as an RB3/flex.

Mike Davis, Giovani Bernard, DeeJay Dallas, Devonta Freeman, Latavius Murray, and Jamaal Williams are around the 60% rostered mark and should be rostered in almost all leagues.

High-upside backups Tony Pollard (34% rostered), Alexander Mattison (37% rostered), Boston Scott (44% rostered), and Brian Hill (13% rostered) should be rostered in most leagues.

Flex options: Matt Breida vs. LAC (25% rostered), DeAndre Washington vs. LAC (2% rostered), Gus Edwards at NE (37% rostered), Jordan Wilkins at TEN (25% rostered), La'Mical Perine on Bye (36% rostered), J.D. Lazard hasn't played since Week 3, but he's been practicing with the team for two weeks as he nears a return following core muscle surgery.

Though his biggest performance of the season (6-146-1) came with Davante Adams sidelined, Lazard has established himself as the second-best receiver in the Packers' offense.

With how well Aaron Rodgers is playing, every manager out there should want a piece of Green Bay's passing attack. Even with Adams commanding a massive target share, Lazard could still emerge as a WR3 in fantasy down the stretch.

Tim Patrick, Broncos

Patrick makes yet another appearance on this list because he's still available in 79% of leagues.

Perhaps that's due to the recent injury that kept him out of Week 8, but Patrick returned on Sunday. He may have only come away with 29 yards in the game, but his peripheral numbers are much more encouraging.

The 26-year-old played 60 snaps - just one less than Jerry Jeudy, who led the Broncos' receiving corps. Patrick also saw nine targets on the day. And he now has over 100 yards and/or a touchdown in four of his last five contests.

Though the public hasn't recognized it yet, Patrick is a player who deserves to be in fantasy lineups as a WR3/WR4.

Jalen Reagor, Eagles

Reagor is flying under the radar after spending most of the season on injured reserve. The first-round pick got back on the field in Week 8 and even scored a touchdown. Coming off a bye, he remains available in most leagues - that has to change immediately.

Reagor was inserted into the lineup as a near full-time player in the win over the Cowboys and saw six targets.

The Eagles' schedule is enticing over the next stretch (Giants, Browns, Seahawks), which sets Reagor up for a potential breakout in the second half.

Deebo Samuel, John Brown, Sterling Shepard, and Emmanuel Sanders are around the 60% rostered mark and should be rostered in almost all leagues.

Before an appendectomy sidelined him for two weeks, Hooper's target share was rising in the Browns' offense.

Hooper saw seven targets in Week 4, 10 in Week 5, and six in Week 6 - delivering at least 50 yards and/or a touchdown in all three contests.

Now he returns to an offense that's lost Odell Beckham Jr. for the season, which should secure Hooper's volume the rest of the way.

If you're struggling at tight end, Hooper is a top-10 option who's just sitting on 60% of waiver wires waiting to be picked up.

Irv Smith Jr., Vikings

Smith has finished as a top-12 fantasy tight end in three of his last four outings, including a two-touchdown performance on Sunday.

Even in his worst game during that stretch, Smith's snap count and routes run remained high.

Though we should still be cautious about trusting him as an every week starter in the Vikings' low-volume pass attack, the sophomore is a quality streamer with a TE1 ceiling.

Dallas Goedert is around the 60% rostered mark and should be rostered in almost all leagues.
