Google Earth 7.1.2 Street view failure

I have Slackware 14.2 64 with Google Earth 7.1.2 installed.
Everything was working fine until 3 or 4 days ago.
Now it will not correctly enter Street View but just shows a blurred image attempt at the street view.
Nothing has changed my end so is this a Google thing or something else?
In addition, I would like to install GE 7.3 but I get the same result as in this image.
