The Detroit Lions will be without Kenny Golladay for a second consecutive game after ruling the receiver out for Sunday's contest against the Washington Football Team due to a hip injury.

Golladay suffered the injury in Detroit's Week 8 contest against the Indianapolis Colts and hasn't practiced since.

Injuries have plagued the 26-year-old receiver for much of the 2020 season. He sat out the first two games of the campaign due to a hamstring issue.

Golladay has recorded 20 receptions for 338 yards and two touchdowns in five games this season after leading the NFL with 11 receiving touchdowns last year.

The 3-5 Lions have struggled to get much going without Golladay on the field, losing all three of their contests without him in the lineup. Sunday's game will see Detroit face a Washington club that owns the league's No. 1 passing defense.

Selected by the Lions in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Golladay is in the last year of his rookie contract.
