How do I configure a local only mail server?
by slac from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5AC2W)
Since postfix is included in Slackware I will be using that one.
I am specifically asking this: "How do I configure a local only mail server?" Because most of the guides include a step that I do not know how to follow in Slackware and that is that when you install the postfix package in other distributions there appears output which asks you to select an initial configuration such like for: internet, satellite, local and I would be using local if I were using those distributions but postfix already comes pre-installed in Slackware and there is a file in /etc/postfix/main.cf already with a lot of stuff, so how do I handle the configuration for a local mail server only?
