Advice

I am fairly new to Linux. Aside from playing around with kali and what little was required on the Sec+ and some minimal dns work at my job, that is the extent of my linux knowledge. I want to get some Linux certifications. I am very interested in Redhat but I have been told to start with linux+. I am not a fan of comptia style of exams and want to know should I start with linux+ or should I got straight to rhcsa? If so what are some recommended books for rhcsa? Thanks in advance.
