An MRI revealed that Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Bridgewater is reportedly considered day-to-day.

The veteran is dealing with some swelling and soreness, and his status is uncertain for Carolina's Week 11 matchup with the Detroit Lions, a source told Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

Bridgewater left Sunday's 46-23 defeat with under six minutes remaining after taking a low sack.

The 28-year-old is in the midst of his first full season as a starter since suffering a career-threatening knee injury with the Minnesota Vikings in 2016.

Bridgewater is second in the league in completion percentage (72.1%) and has thrown for 2,552 yards and 13 touchdowns against seven interceptions.
