Hamilton schools report three cases of COVID-19
Hamilton public schools reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.
One student at Hess Street Elementary School, one worker at Dundas Central Elementary School, and one student at Annunciation of Our Lord tested positive for the virus.
All of them tested positive on Sunday. The schools say the cases pose low-risk to the community and students and staff listed as close contacts are self-isolating.
The case at Annunciation affects one classroom and one bus route, the school said.
The province has reported 40 cases of COVID-19 in Hamilton's schools and child-care centres.
The vast majority of cases are unconnected and pose low-risk to the school communities.
