Unable to compile LibreOffice 7 from source on Slackware 14.2
by Leonard_Linux from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5AGN7)
Hello,
I'm failing to compile LibreOffice 7 on Slackware 14.2. I ran ./configure and first it complained that the gcc version is to low, so I compiled gcc 10 from source. After that it complained that JDK 10 or higher needs to be installed, so installed JDK 15 (also from source). Now it complains that com_err is not installed. It said that com_err was needed for Kerberos 5. I searched the web and I couldn't find out what com_err is and how to install it. Will installing Kerberos 5 solve the error?
