Will Ontario close the schools? Schools are not COVID-19 hotbeds, necessarily; until we have surveillance testing to catch the asymptomatic COVID children sneaking around, we won't really know for sure. But Tuesday, Education Minister Stephen Lecce sent up a trial balloon about an extended Christmas break, and the premier blew that balloon into the sky before trying to pull it back.
