Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Clelin Ferrell recently tested positive for COVID-19, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

The Raiders placed Ferrell and defensive back Lamarcus Joyner on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, though the team did not disclose whether either player contracted the virus.

Ferrell, the fourth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, is now unlikely to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, Rapoport adds. Joyner was reportedly deemed a close contact of Ferrell's and must test negative before being cleared to play.

After amassing 4.5 sacks during his rookie campaign, Ferrell has yet to record a quarterback takedown in 2020. Joyner has started four games this season and is Las Vegas' primary nickel cornerback.

The Raiders have dealt with a number of COVID-19 issues this season. Right tackle Trent Brown will reportedly be sidelined until December due to virus complications, and linebacker Cory Littleton was also placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list last week.
