[SOLVED] Correct upgrade-all with slackpkg
by ganjaplanet from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5AKS6)
Hi!
I've just installed slackware-current, am using slackpkg and slackpkg+ to manage software.
KDE plasma packages are now in 'testing/packages/vtown/' subdirectory.
I need a clean way to be able to upgrade all packages correctly.
I've set 'PRIORITY = ( patches testing %PKGMAIN ) in /etc/slackpkg/slackpkg.conf to prioritize
KDE vtown packages over the KDE4 ones with the same name. But now also other packages from testing get upgrade - for instance gcc-* related - which i want to avoid. Is there a way to blacklist/graylist all testing packages BUT vtown ones from being upgraded?
Thanks!
