We may never lose again.
Another teaser win in Week 10 - this time the points were necessary after getting two outright winners the week before - ensures we continue to line our pockets with their money.
Let's take more of it in Week 11.
Falcons @ Saints, Nov. 22 @ 1 p.m. ETLine: Falcons +5
Teaser line: Falcons +11
Even when the going is good for the Saints, a date with the Falcons never proves to be straightforward. Atlanta went into last year's meeting at the Superdome sitting at 1-7 and still laid a 26-9 beating on the 7-1 Saints. Drew Brees and this dynamic New Orleans offense failed to find the end zone.
It'll reportedly be Taysom Hill, not Brees, this time around for the Saints. Hill and Jameis Winston hardly inspired last week against the 49ers in the second half, averaging just 4.1 yards per play and finding the end zone once thanks to a muffed punt. Hill also turned the ball over and will now apparently take the reigns for a game against the division-rival Falcons, who are playing their best football of the season.
Atlanta was a Todd Gurley slide away from being 4-0 since firing Dan Quinn. It's not all that different to last season when Morris' defense stiffened up as the Falcons finished 6-2 after a 1-7 start. Coming off their bye, the Falcons will have this game circled and posted on the bulletin board, and they just so happen to be catching the Brees-less Saints - who are also dealing with other key injuries on both sides of the ball - at the perfect time.
Titans @ Ravens, Nov. 22 @ 1 p.m.Line: Titans +6
Teaser line: Titans +12
The main worry here is whether the Titans' offensive line can hold up long enough to help Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry take advantage of a suddenly struggling Ravens defense. Perhaps the most stunning takeaway from Baltimore's loss at Foxboro was how much the defense struggled to set the edge.
Damien Harris and Rex Burkhead each averaged over five yards a carry (5.5 and 5.2, respectively), with Harris tallying 121 on the ground. Henry victimized the Ravens for 195 rushing yards in their divisional round meeting last season, and you can bet Mike Vrabel will ride him again here. With success running the ball, Tennessee will alleviate the pass rush and open space in the secondary for Tannehill to exploit.
Meanwhile, the Ravens can't produce on offense. Some nasty weather didn't help in Week 10, but the warning signs have been there for weeks. Their typically dynamic rushing attack is sputtering and the passing game has been remarkably dysfunctional. With an extra few days to prepare for this rematch, and the Titans desperate not to fall out of the playoff hunt, we can trust Vrabel to scheme up a tight game.
