UPDATE: Weather advisory in effect for Hamilton
Snow has arrived in Hamilton.
Environment Canada is calling for seven to 14 centimetres of snow to blanket our fair city Sunday.
The weather service also issued an advisory for the city of Hamilton around 2:15 p.m. warning of poor visibility and slippery road conditions.
Snow is expected to continue falling throughout the day, winding down overnight.
If you're near Lake Ontario the snow may mix with ice pellets and possible rain as the day continues.
Motorists are reminded to drive carefully as at times, snow is expected to fall and accumulate quickly.
As for temperatures Sunday, residents can expect a high of 2 C and a low of -5 C overnight with the wind chill.
