lxdm unable to start gnome-session
by ganjaplanet from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5AVTR)
Hi!
I am running slackware-current, installed dropline gnome 3.38. When i log in on the console and run `startx`, everything is fine - the single problem is that i cannot lock the screen.
But when i installed lxdm from SlackBuilds and set it up so that it autologins gnome-session, it ends up with the gnome warning "Oh no, something went wrong..."
What am i doing wrong?
i setup gnome-session to be the default for root and my normal user account with `xwmconfig`
