24-bit colour terminals?
by coralfang from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5AYE7)
Hi there. Recently was intrigued by a piece of software called bashtop, which has some colour effects (gradients etc) that looked interesting; https://github.com/aristocratos/bashtop
Tried to load it up in urxvt (afaik, this supports 256 colours only), and of course had some display issues. Quickly found out that this software is written with 24-bit colour support within the terminal program in mind.
Only one i am aware of, is KDE's Konsole. My question is, what terminal software supports 24-bit colours?
Preferably i'm looking for something that can be run borderless in a tiling window manager, and relies on ~/.Xresources for configuration.
Are there any terminals that fit this criteria with 24-bit colour support?
