Hamilton driving instructor charged with sexual assault in Burlington

A 56-year-old Burlington driving instructor has been arrested in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a student.
Police said the arrest was made Thursday, Nov. 26.
The individual worked as a driving instructor in the city of Burlington and police said one of his students recently came forward and made the allegation.
Muhammad Zafar, 56, of Hamilton is charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
Zafar was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police said the individual may have been operating as a private driving instructor in or around the Burlington and Hamilton areas.
