Nagy blasts Bears for SNF debacle: 'Have some personal pride'

Bears head coach Matt Nagy ripped his entire team Monday following Chicago's blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.

"Every freaking coach on the staff, every player better wake up and start understanding where we're at," he told reporters. "Have some personal pride. Have a freaking sense of urgency. Know where we're at. ... Yesterday was flat-out embarrassing and our guys know it."

The Bears were manhandled by their division rivals in Week 12 and fell three games back of the Packers for top spot in the NFC North as a result. The 41-25 defeat marked Chicago's fifth straight loss and gave the club a losing record for the first time all year.

At one point in the second half, NBC commentator Tony Dungy called out the Bears' defense for a lack of effort. Chicago's offense was equally problematic, with Mitchell Trubisky committing two interceptions and three fumbles, losing one, in his return to the starting lineup.

"We better have some stinking fire and you better have some care," Nagy added. "And if you have that, I promise you with the talent that we have good things will happen. But you got to do it; enough is enough."

Trubisky threw a pair of garbage-time touchdowns to make the final score look more respectable. Nagy didn't officially name Trubisky the starter for Week 13 against the Detroit Lions but indicated he'll likely get the nod.

"I don't see why not," he said.

Trubisky started the first three games of the season before he was benched for Nick Foles, who was inactive against the Packers due to injury.
