Can i play brutaldoom on doomsday?

I wanna play doomsday with brutaldoom mod but doomsday is full 3D and normarl brutaldoom doesn't work with it. I tried to install brutaldoom 64 but when i paste mod to my wads folder, game won't launch. It's probably on windows only and not for doomsday but for zandronum and zdoom :/

And it's possible make doomsday 2d? Or can you give me link to nice doom launcher on linux? (zdoom, gzdoom and lzdoom aren't fine for me).
