Bryant holds no ill will toward Cowboys: 'Water under the bridge'

There will be no bad blood between Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday night.

Bryant, now a member of the Baltimore Ravens, is prepared to battle his former team for the first time since the Cowboys released him in 2018 - but he harbors no ill will towards the organization.

"For the most part, it's water under the bridge," Bryant said, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "That's two years. I had time to get myself together. You got to go forward with life because life isn't going to wait on you. Time waits on no one. I had to get myself together and move forward."

The veteran receiver spent the first eight years of his career in Dallas, recording three 1,000-yard seasons and three Pro Bowl nominations. Bryant also eclipsed double-digit figures in touchdowns on three occasions, including a league-leading 16 receiving touchdowns in 2014.

Bryant did not play in 2018 and 2019 following his release before the Ravens added him to their practice squad earlier this campaign. The 32-year-old quickly was elevated before he signed a contract to remain on the active roster, playing in three games thus far.

The former first-round receiver is eager to show his former team what he's got left during Tuesday's matchup.

"It's cool. I'm excited. I'm looking forward to it. A lot of those guys on that team, I know, I'm real good friends with. I think when we line up across from one another, it's going to be fun. It's going to be an exciting moment," Bryant added.

Bryant has caught four passes for 28 yards this year in his first game action since the 2017 season.
