ATI Radeon 2100

When I acquired a new, more powerful board, the last thing I thought was that I was going to have to suffer so much, with the video card... in my old Debian 6 distribution it's going great, but when I ran out of updates, I was working with Mageia on a virtual machine, but I needed to make the most of the processor in video.
The distribution that behaved best was PCLinuxOS, but a few days ago the PC was freezing and even closed the session, the browser was failing all the time... I tried Debian-Ubuntu-Mageia, even with free drivers and the situation was the same.
I decided to give other distros a chance and 4MLinux, incredibly has been the ultimate solution, IT HAS TO BE SOMETHING FROM THE FIRMWARE!
