TrackPoint does not work on current after upgrade

Hello, today (9/12) I did an upgrade of an image of slackware64-current on a virtualbox and after the upgrade the trackpoint does not work any more (I use an old lenovo thinkpad edge 11 with disabled touchpad, only the trackpoint is active). Virtualbox is running on the stable 14.2 version.
The machine starts at level 3, so is there any modules I have to load manually before starting x? Unfortunatelly no network is started at this point.
